How the calculation works
If the tax rate is r:
Add tax: Tax = Net × r, Gross = Net × (1 + r)
Tax included: Net = Gross ÷ (1 + r), Tax = Gross − Net

What’s the difference between “Add tax” and “Tax included”?
Use Add tax when your amount is before tax (net). Use Tax included when your amount already includes tax and you want to extract the tax portion.
